The end of the line [Jun. 9th, 2008|08:05 pm]

I'm done. Convocation was really great fun. The Chancellor asked me what I was going to do next and when I told him what my job is, he seemed really truly impressed. lol. My parents took me out to a very fancy dinner and then held a cocktail party for friends and family. Everyone said I looked radiant. I think it was due to my dress, a good haircut, and half decent makeup. ;-)

So there you have it. I am officially done and officially impressive. Thanks to everyone here for their support. This blog will now be on hiatus. If you're looking for me, try Clevergirl.

*I found chapter 1. He inserted it just before the conclusion of chapter 2... and inserted it upside down and backwards.

*at the top of pg. 99 he has written someone's name and phone number. Am I supposed to call this person?

*Wherever I've made a "list", this reader has written 1,2,3... above each item and circled it. Not for any reason. It seems. Just to do it.

*In the Reference list, he has placed ticks beside some of the resources. Not sure if this means it's a good thing I used them or if it means he's going to look them up for his own research.

lol.

And on the other end of the spectrum... [Feb. 2nd, 2008|02:38 pm]

The third one:

* lost one of the binder rings I used to put it together

* did not return the first chapter

*underlined and marked up all over the place. Including just putting random boxes around some titles for no reason.

*and turned a bunch of the pages upside down.

* Oh there are comments, tho... but most are observations and this writing is illegible.

*Ponders what to do with this!*

Three of my committee members (external and two others) returned their marked up hard copies to me so that I could make minor changes. The funny thing there is that I just flipped through one of them in 10 seconds. There is not a single mark in it. He did leave a paper clip on one page and thinking it might be a suggested correction, I turned to it. What is it? Why, he has simply drawn two lines -- one on each page -- in spots where he wanted to remember something a finding for himself.

So, um, I guess this means I can move on to the third one?!
